This is a 2 hours and 15 minutes course for staff who will become fire wardens for your premises. This a comprehensive course for staff who will have greater responsibilities within your fire emergency plan.
The course includes information on the following:
- How to prevent fires in the workplace
- How others may act during a fire emergency
- Fire Warden duties and responsibilities
- How to safely search the premises and pass information to the fire service
- Evacuation of disabled persons
- Different types of fire and which extinguisher to use
- When it is safe to use a fire extinguisher and when it is not
- Hands on experience using fire extinguishers
